Sometimes, however, you can feel the need to feel that sense of pleasure unnecessarily and grow an attachment to unhealthy foods. This isn’t your fault, it is psychology working against you. But, you can practice more self-control and refuse to eat certain foods, even when you know it will give you a sense of pleasure.
People who feel the need to eat junk food in order to be filled could be considered to have an unhealthy addiction. Choosing to eat unhealthy food based on the fact you get pleasure from it can be defined as a form of addiction. So, if you notice that dieting is more difficult for you than normal, it could be because your brain is working against you.
